[NOTICE] Opening of the Museum under special measures

Dear friends and visitors,

on 23 April 2020 the government of the Republic of Croatia adopted a conclusion on measures to relaunch economic and other activities in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic, which regulates the gradual relaxation of restrictions as of Monday, 27 April. This includes reopening museums and galleries from April 27, 2020.

In line with this decision, as well as with the recommendations of the Croatian Institute of Public Health, the Ministry of Culture has published Guidelines for the normalization of the work of museums and galleries, according to which we inform you that physical distance between persons will be ensured on the premises of the Stari Grad Museum and close contact with staff will be reduced. Hand disinfection for visitors will be available upon entering the Museum.

Furthermore, to reduce physical contact, the Museum can accommodate up to 5 people at the same time. New visitors will be allowed to enter only when one visitor leaves. Until further notice, group visits and guided tours are not allowed.

For the duration of these special measures of protection against coronavirus infection, the Museum will be open to visitors every weekday from 10am to 1pm by appointment via telephone at +385 21 766 324 or by email at info@msg.hr.

Thank you for your understanding and caution, and we hope we will be able to open our doors soon without obstacles!
