After Brussels and Zagreb, the exhibition HVAR / A UNESCO Island is finally in Stari Grad!
We invite you to the opening of the exhibition on Wednesday, 8 June beginning at 9pm in Stari Grad Museum. The exhibition will run until the end of July.
The exhibition, organised by Stari Grad Museum with the help of Stari Grad Municipality and in collaboration with three photographers, represents the island of Hvar as a unique island in the Adriatic. It shows all the richness of the island that can truly be called a UNESCO island. With the Stari Grad Plain and historical centre of Stari Grad, enlisted on the UNESCO World Heritage List, under the protection of UNESCO are two original Hvar intangible phenomena – the procession Following the Cross and Agave lace made by Benedictine nuns from Hvar town, as well as common heritage of the Mediterranean diet and klapa singing.
We look forward to your visit!
