Stari Grad Museum opens the door for the Night of Museums which will take place on Friday 26 January, from 6pm to 11pm!
This year, we have joined forces with Petar Hektorović Primary School for it’s big anniversary, so two exhibitions will be presented on Friday!
The first exhibition, 110 years of school building in Stari Grad, presents an overview of the building’s history, from it’s construction in 1908 untill today. The authors of the exhibition are Mladen Domazet, Vilma Stojković and Andrea Devlahović, and numerous archive materials were used (Archives of the Stari Grad Museum and Museum of the Dominican Monastery, Archives of Petar Hektorović Primary School, Archives Radoslavić, Kovačević, Zaninović, Bogdanić).
The second is the exhibition of pupil’s photographs A healthy mind in a healthy body, on the subject of sports, which students realised with prof. Katija Barbić.
The musical part of the evening is the responisbility of the Faros’ Cantors, and pupils will present their recitations as well as Klaudija Gamulin.
It will be cheerful, so dress warmly and come on Friday from 6pm to the Museum!
