Pupils of Petar Hektorović Primary School in Stari Grad will join the members of the Palagruža association in the garden of the Biankini Palace to take part in the shipbuilding workshop and build Komiža gundula.
Palagruža association has launched the Komiža Gundula project four years ago, and so far five boats with young people throughout Croatia and Europe have been built.
Petar Hekorović Primary School cooperates with the association since last year and the festival “Days in the Bay”. The Komiža gundula is a wooden boat four metres long which was used for rowing to Komiža’s nearby beaches.
