We invite you to the opening of the exhibition Palaeolithic hunting weapons on Saturday, 1 August at 9pm in Stari Grad Museum. The exhibition will remain open until 10 August.
A wooden tip of the spear made of yew tree, from the Palaeolithic period, was found at the bottom of the Ljubljanica River near Vrhnika in the Ljubljana Marshes in September 2008 by the author of the exhibition Miran Erič. This small exhibition presents the 3D model of the spear tip, a plaster cast of the spear tip, and two posters presenting the finding and conservation of this rare, ancient find dating from about 25 000 years ago.
We look forward to your visit!
